Once Again we have the opportunity to recognize Arrowmen for their outstanding service to their unit, district council, and lodge.

The Order of the Arrow recognizes those Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the spirit of the Boy Scouts and the Scouting Program. Within the Order, there are also ways to recognize those Arrowmen who best live up to the ideals of the Order. The highest honor our lodge can bestow upon one of its members is the Vigil Honor.

Advisor’s Minute

Each week, during our Troop, Crew and Ship meetings, we recite the Scout Oath. This oath has been repeated millions of times by Scouts across the country. The third word in this weekly ritual is honor. Honor has several usages and meanings. In a courtroom, the judge is referred to as your honor.  Colleges and universities have honor codes.  And in the armed forces men and women serve with honor and when their time of service is finished they can be honorably discharged if their service has met or exceeded the standard.

This past year has been a roller coaster, but we’ve all stuck together while staying apart. We hosted many great and safe events from inducting new members to fellowship and service and we have more exciting events coming around the corner.

Introducing Chapter Spotlight

Submitted by admin on Sat, 07/10/2021 - 09:30

Chapter Spotlight is a new initiative that will highlight individual Chapters here in the Silver Fox. This is an opportunity for Chapters to show the rest of the Lodge how their group shines! Submissions can be anything from an event that the Chapter helped plan or participated in, a trip taken, or even a service project that has been worked on.
