The 2017 National Jamboree just wrapped up and Pellissippi Lodge was well represented in the contingent and on staff. The National Jamboree began July 19th and ended on July 28th. Dozens of Arrowmen from Pellissippi Lodge were part of the 3 troop and one crew contingent and took part in Jamboree activities including the Messengers of Peace Day of Service, shooting sports, scuba diving, riding ATVs, rock climbing and more. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Summit Circle, which contains much of the original ceremony circle that was transplanted from Treasure Island.
In addition, lodge chief Caleb Douglas and lodge secretary Anthony Phillips took part in Operation Arrow. Operation Arrow Arrowmen served in one of 3 program areas. Service Corps, Trek Guides and the Indian Village.
